Monthly greetings. It's been a slow one. I thought I'd post because it's the beginning of June, so why not? Firstly, congratulations and celebrations for test season having finished! (For some people at least), and I know some people are already getting their test results back. I'm sure you all did amazingly. Fortunately, now they're finished, we can work hard to achieve our goal! Continue reading for some eye-opening news ;). Secondly... Well, there is no secondly really. Not much has been happening this half term, apart from the fact that I've been collecting in some AMAZING assets, so thank you guys for all your hard work, you can see some of the newly submitted artwork above (Not including the middle picture), and some more on the "About Switch" page which I have decided to keep up as official artwork. I've been looking ahead a bit. As in, ahead to what my next project after this visual novel will be and I'm thinking of making some sort of RPG game, or at least a game that looks a bit like this: As for plot lines, I was thinking I could either come up with something new (obviously) OR, make an immersive, player controlled version of Nytwalk. Interesting, right? Actually, now that I think about it, considering Nytwalk has such a complex storyline, it may be a bit hard to turn that into an RPG... Eh. People can dream. Unfortunately, the only thing holding me back from that idea, is the fact that creating and developing the game, will look a lot like this: I mean look at how much effort that must be! I'm dedicating my whole life to game development but sheesh. This is going to be tough.
Either way, it depends on how you look at things and decide to go through life. Honestly, this half term was indeed my break however I literally only got out of bed when I was hungry. It's not even like I was doing anything in bed to keep me in place, like watching anime. It was simply my lack of sheer motivation. Thing is, I knew I had things to do, I just didn't want to get up and do anything. I am laziness embodied. So for me, this term I'll be working on my willpower. And also my vocabulary because I really feel it has been suffering lately. Anyone recommend any good books? And what are your goals for this term? And now for the big news. That... I've just remembered... have set us a deadline. Well... a uhm.. "Due Date" For our project. FROM THIS DAY FORTH- *ahem* This time next year. Yes, June the 4th, two thousand and sixteen (2016), 23:35 pm. We would have finished out first project and it will be ready for dispatch. Uhm. SURPRISE! Think we can make it? I do. I know that this is going to be the best and most productive year of my life so far and I am glad that you have given me the chance to accomplish this. With our hard work, we can achieve something great, and I hope it helps you out in the future. So here's to productivity! Let's promise ourselves this is going to be a good one. Right after I watch anime... (You can find live countdowns of the Completion of NytWalk on the NytWalk pages). Until next time, Switch. Currently working on:

I know... *sigh* I don't know what I'm scared of. It's like, since there's a possibility of failure I might as well not try sometimes. I can't help but have that outlook sometimes and it's hard to get myself out of the mood.

Of course starting something new is always hard. We all have that fear of the unknown. But remember you won't know what might happen unless you try. I think you have talent and it would be a waste to underestimate it :) .
