Here are a few common questions I have been asked since the start of the project. I have compiled them into a (hopefully) easy to read format. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
Is it Possible to volunteer without being above "Legal" age? (16)
Yes, of course! Really no one should stop themselves from doing something just because they're underage. Plus, it's voluntary, so there are no repercussions! I openly welcome everyone who spent their time helping me.
What is the visual novel about?
Let me copy and past what I've said to everyone else.
The storyline of the visual novel is quite complex at first glance. Simply put, it is about a boy who gets lost in his imagination, and comes to the conclusion that really it isn't as good a place as he thought it was, he has two main paths that he can take the path to follow a romantic interest which is found inside the imagination. (The romantic interest will tell/show the narrator how to
use his imagination and conjure things out of thin air and stuff and basically survive in this unpredictable land), or the second path,
which is learning the secrets of the imagination but on this path he goes through various different versions of his imagination that
feature different art styles.. However honestly, these are very vague ideas, and I'm currently working on the first part of the story, which is him getting himself dropped into this place and trying to find away out.
However this story line is VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO CHANGE and I already have an idea in my head that isn't too similar to this one that I kind of prefer.

What are you doing right now?
Probably getting swamped with emails, or catching up on late homework. Occasionally you can find me actually editing this site. Or perhaps I'm uploading a blog or if you're lucky, I'm actually doing ACTUAL PROGRAMMING.
Where do i start if i want to volunteer?
Honestly, you don't even need to talk to me in order to help. There's only one way to get in contact and that's via the contact form. You could contact me there, or if you think you're going to try your luck and get on my good side, you could look at the Needed Assets page and try and complete one of the briefs in advance to send to me. Nonetheless, if you'd like to help, go through the contact form and upload examples of your art. Depending on your art style, I may give you a special task. I have lots of those stored away...
A complete MUST for all volunteers, would be to download and read the .doc that can be found on the Contact page as it is absolutely necessary to read. You know, to avoid lawsuits and stuff. I promise it's not boring, it's actually really informative.

I've finished the brief i was given. What do I do now?
Well, you could take a well needed break, or you could head to the Needed Assets page and see whether you could fulfill any of the tasks set there.
However, before you do any of that, go to the Contact page and upload your Asset(s) to the contact form to get in touch. Trust me, I will always reply to everything you send. Unless... It didn't get sent or something...

I want to be more to you than an artist or a musician, what can i do?
Well, if you don't think art or music is your type of thing, you could go to the Vacancies page and look at the spaces I have available. Maybe some extra businessy stuff could suit you.
I know who you are...
Nice, and I'd prefer it to stay that way. Just you knowing who I am. I kindly ask you to respect my privacy as I have reasons for staying anonymous. Perhaps one day I'll show the world my true colors but until then, if you hint at my real identity, I will have to ban your IP address I'm afraid.
i want to help but i might not have time!
That's understandable. I understand you have a life unlike me, and I understand that some people go to school. But remember, this whole project is Pro school! Pro having fun and developing your skills and I hope this gives everyone an opportunity to shine. Perhaps if you know that your schedule is a bit busy ahead of time, then you can take on a smaller project. If you see no projects like these in the Needed Assets page then get in contact and I might have something else that you could do if you're really that eager to help. Geez, you're all so kind.
What kinds of stuff can i do if i am an artist or musician?
You can do some of the following. If you don't understand this terminology, it is all defined in the Volunteers document that ALL VOLUNTEERS should read.
- Artists can Design or sketch new characters, props, or whatever I need. Briefs can always be found on the Needed Assets page.
- Artists can do re-designs or characters, sketches or whatever I need. Same applies as above.
- Artists can "Digitalise" Sketches. Same applies as above.
Will I get paid if/when i help out? what is going to happen to the game once it's done?
Long story short- no.
I do not have the means to give financial recompense to my volunteers. I give them free advertising instead and I am sure to make this clear when I request their help. The game will be made available for purchase however my volunteers are working for free. If the game ever becomes successful - which it only will through their hard work as well - then their artwork will be recognised either way.
And it seems that since you are thinking of volunteering, you must read the file below first.
