Hey guys. Small warning, this is going to be a rather technical blog post. But in hindsight, it's short so oh well.
I've heard back from most of my artists saying that they would like to continue work on the project. This is amazing. As soon as my tests have finished... *Checks my exam table for no reason at all* Then- WAIT A SECOND. MY TESTS DON'T FINISH ON THE 8th. I literally just found out. This is live guys. Two seconds ago reality dawned upon me. My exams finish on the 10th of June. Leading mercilessly all the way up to this Friday. I have no idea what compelled me to think that I finished my tests on the 8th since it was so clearly printed on my timetable -.-. Anyway, before I go on, I would like to just say that I have updated the Volunteers Document. I'm not secretly making you sign up to give up your first born children or anything. I just added some more notes that many people had asked for, so basically everything is in one place. Here's the new document.

Monthly greetings. It's been a slow one. I thought I'd post because it's the beginning of June, so why not? Firstly, congratulations and celebrations for test season having finished! (For some people at least), and I know some people are already getting their test results back. I'm sure you all did amazingly. Fortunately, now they're finished, we can work hard to achieve our goal! Continue reading for some eye-opening news ;). Secondly... Well, there is no secondly really. Not much has been happening this half term, apart from the fact that I've been collecting in some AMAZING assets, so thank you guys for all your hard work, you can see some of the newly submitted artwork above (Not including the middle picture), and some more on the "About Switch" page which I have decided to keep up as official artwork. I've been looking ahead a bit. As in, ahead to what my next project after this visual novel will be and I'm thinking of making some sort of RPG game, or at least a game that looks a bit like this: As for plot lines, I was thinking I could either come up with something new (obviously) OR, make an immersive, player controlled version of Nytwalk. Interesting, right?
Actually, now that I think about it, considering Nytwalk has such a complex storyline, it may be a bit hard to turn that into an RPG... Eh. People can dream. Unfortunately, the only thing holding me back from that idea, is the fact that creating and developing the game, will look a lot like this: Hey guys!
Firstly, sorry for the late (And much overdue) blog post. I've been setting up this exam season for the test papers that are going to determine the rest of my life. Okay, that sounds a bit foreboding and menacing, so let's phrase this in a different way. I am completing questions on important pieces of paper. Anyway, what have I done recently towards the game? Collected assets, updated the site a lot. (Quite a few of you may notice the "Be Social" page, and some of you have already made accounts on the site, which is amazing! Thank you for your support! On a serious note. there has been a large scandal. An utterly embarrassing, SWITCH-CEPTION has occured! |
